The weather broke just long enough for nearly 400 participants to enjoy the beautiful 5k course, the hopping kids' runs, kids' activities, pancake breakfast and live music. In total, the race and fundraising raised over $20,000 to support Vision Builders programs. Katie Kirkpatrick, Vision Builders Board President, told participants at the awards ceremony that the race provided enough support to fund our nutrition program for hundreds of kids in the slums of Varanasi, India, and more.

Hillary Lamont of Ann Arbor and Anthony Pavicic of Sterling Heights, who set a new Vision Builders 5k course record with his time of 16:04. Full results for the 5k and 1 mile kids' runs can be viewed using the links below. Check back soon for race photos as well.
